Angelina Jolie promotes humanitarian causes and is noted for her work with refugees as a special envoy and former goodwill ambassador. She first visited Cambodia in  2001 and several refugee camps around the word, she expressed her shock from  what she witnessed. she met with Afghan refugees in Pakistan where she donated  $1million for emergency appeal
