Gigi Hadid announced she will be collaborating with Tommy Hilfiger, she will become a fashion designer for the very first time by designing a capsule collection for the brand. The collection will consist of sportswear, footwear, accessories and a new fragrance which will ‘celebrate Hadid’s unique take on modern style’ and ‘signature classic American cool’ heritage’.
Seems like she’s the go-to girl for 2015 after becoming the face of Topshop, then landing her dream job as a Victoria Secret model and having multiple appearances for other big brands. This isn’t the first situation where actress turns director, or model turns actress, in this case its Gigi turns designer, and why not.
She’s been named as a global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger. Set to hit shops autumn 2016– launching in time for the AW16 runway season.
