Oscars 2016: Winners and red carpet in full

So the Oscars 88th Annual Academy Awards for 2016 happened last night, and it’s what we’ve all been waiting for hosted by Chris Rock. Which included performances from Sam Smith, the Weekend and Lady Gaga, girls scout cookies and most of all the much awaited win for Leonardo DiCaprio. Moving on to the glitz and glamour of the gowns worn- appearing early is Alicia Vikander from Danish Girl made an early Oscars moment wearing a dusty yellow Louis Vuitton once again, does she remind you anyone of a particular Disney Princess? She’s defiantly the ‘Belle’ of the ball, also the winner of supporting actress. Saoirse Ronan nominated for best actress for Brooklyn wearing a green sequinned plunging Calvin Klein. Brie Larson- winner of the night for her lead actress role in Room wearing a floating blue Gucci gown. Presenting an award was Charlize Theron wearing red defiantly didn’t blend in with the red carpet wearing Dior. Also presenting an award was Star Wars star Daisy Ridley in an figure hugging Channel number. Kate Winslet who made all our dreams came true when she appeared on the red carpet with Leo wearing Ralph Lauren. Naomi Watts wore a mesmerizing mermaid Armani Prive dress. Cate Blanchett always stuns in a floral Armani Prive. Rachel McAdams making us green with envy in August Getty Atelier and Margot Robbie Tom Ford.
