Christian Louboutin has a brand new range of flat shoes for which he is being applauded for on social medias by fans. The collection is pointy ballet flats to suit every skin tone, called the Solasofia. The shoes come in seven different shades named from ‘porcelain’ to ‘deep chocolate’. The ballet-inspired ad campaign was photography duo Sofia and Mauro featuring ballet dancers modelling the collection. The diverse range of flat shoes are described as “low in elevation but high in sophistication”. First introduced originally when launched ‘Nudes’ in 2013 from pale to dark.
French designers for Louboutin made the shoes from napa leather, the pointed flats still feature its signature red sole, finished with a little bow. The ‘nude’ skin color makes it all about the legs. “The nude collection is dedicated to people who want to have great legs, to have a great silhouette. Not necessarily to emphasize the shoe. If you look at the shoe, it looks good, if you don’t look at the shoe, if you don’t see the details, it’s all about the legs; it’s all about the person.” Says Louboutin.
Nudes For All pointed ballet flats are priced at £450. ‘always be on point’ available now.
