Removing make up routine

Hello,

Removing make up is a really important step for the skin care routine, it is said you should spend just as much time taking your make up off as you do putting it on. The most important thing to remember is to try never miss taking off your make up and end up sleeping in it, this can result in bad, tired looking skin and even break outs the following day.

As my daily routine i tend to use micellar water rather than wipes, unless the odd chance i may be feeling lazy, nevertheless i most likely use Garnier's Micellar Water, i usually stock up on this when it is on offer in Boots, i got the biggest size (700ml) for £5 a few months ago and i am only just reaching the half way mark, so it lasts a very long time. I am looking to try the Garnier micellar water that includes oil once this one is finished. After removing both eye and face make up i move on to Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter from Bodyshop which is a barm that melts away any make up, i use this as a second step to remove any stubborn product left behind on the face, it also leaves the skin feeling super soft when rinsed off. Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream is good for a night time moisturizer as there products are usually thick and nourishing and will soak into the skin slowly over night. After the skin is moisturized i either go in with a serum or oil, at the moment i am using up the remains of Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate which i got as a sample, the smallest amount goes a long way, i only apply one drop to the forehead and one on either cheek. Otherwise i use Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair for more radiant complexion in the morning. To finish, i add a moisturizer or barm to keep the lips soft avoiding any cracks or dry lips in the morning.

To me taking care of ones skin is very important, mainly cause i can wear less make up and not have to worry about or be insecure about my skin underneath.
