Attempting to get back in the game after not posting at all in September, apologies.
This post is a 'show and tell' about my recent buys and report on those items. Not to say you have to go out and buy these items, however it is a way you can figure out if any of these can work for your skintype- test before buy.
Lets begin with Pixi, this is the first time i am trying any of the brands products, i have been really wanting to try the Glow Tonic after hearing glycolic acid is an important step in anyone's skincare routine. So i got a mini trio including the glow tonic product to see if the brand works well for my skin in-particularly. The other products included were glow mud cleanser and glow mud mask.
Still continuing with skincare i got my very first product from The Ordinary, highly recommended for their clinical formulas and affordable price. I really wanted to try the salicylic acid but was out of stock so i bought lactic acid instead.
Moving along to the brand Soap & Glory, i got a skincare product and a make-up product from their range. Firstly the Kick Ass setting powder, which you apply where any concealer was applied to set those areas once your base is complete to reduce any creasing. This particular powder has a nice yellow undertone to brighter up those areas also preventing any signs of oily skin.
Next from Soap & Glory is an under eye mask for puffyness, i don't tend to get puffy eyes however when i am tired, like most people my eyes give it away. I don't add to many products to my eye area simply because the skin around the eye is very sensitive. So i mainly apply product when i think i need it to those areas, most likely when there is lack of sleep, but i get enough of that.
Rough Edition Velvet matte finish liquid lipstick shade cool brown by Bourjois is a very simple colour, it is basically my own lip colour, only better. Its comfortable to wear, however it does need reapplying throughout the day.
I got the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade in the shade ask brown. This is another product i have had my eyes on for some time. I personally only use the smallest amount as my eyebrows are quite naturally full and thick but the smallest amount goes a long way, therefore will last a long time, which is a win win.
Hope you enjoyed this post. See you next time
