Hello, It's been a while..
My last post was in Summer which seems ages ago for anyone experiencing weather here in the UK right now, BRRRRR.
I will get right to it with the products I have picked up during this time...
Their were two main brands that dominated during this time and that is: Origins and The
Bodyshop.
Starting with 'Super Spot Remover' by Origins, this product works miracles. If you feel a bump under the skin that could progress into a blemish add a small amount of the gel and it drys up the area. Very impressed.
The 'Refreshing Scrub Cleanser' from the Ginzing range by Origins smells incredible, the whole Ginzing range does. The formula is so smooth for a exfoliating scrub and will be suitable for sensitive skin because it isn't too harsh. However for someone who suffers with dry skin it might be to subtle for you.
'Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer' by origins is also from the Ginzing range (the smell <3). A gel type formula is preferred more in summer months, you might opt for something thicker in the winter. But still really good.
'Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilence' by Origins. This is a smoothing lotion to be used in the AM & PM. Know anyone who knows me, knows I can't stand mushrooms, however it is part of the newer ranges by Origins so I wanted to try. It did take me a while to start using this, so I don't really have a valid review to share as I feel I haven't used it enough. I can say the formula is pleasant and doesn't smell like mushrooms.
Origins 'Checks And Balances' Frothy face wash. As a frothy face wash the formula is very interesting and smells clean and minty, it feels really nice on the skin. Worth a try.
'Ginger Burst' body wash by Origins has a very strong scent so for those who don't like ginger I wouldn't recommend. I only apply a small amount as part of a second wash to my body. Origins is all natural ingredients, and my sensitive skin loves it.
Moving on to Bodyshop, 'Almond Milk & Honey' the exfoliating cream scrub is perfect for me, first of all it smells divine and secondly it is suitable for sensitive and dry skin types, tick tick. For anyone searching for a good exfoliator I would recommend The Bodyshop, they have different products to suit different skin types and a whole range of different scents.
'Brazilian Cupuacu Scrub-In-Oil' This was recommended by The Bodyshop as a popular product. I tend to use this in my bath and it leaves my skin feeling so soft afterwards.
I picked up Bodyshop's 'Camomile' gentle eye make-up remover. I love love love the Camomile barm and thought I should give this a go as well as part of my make-up removing routine. Have yet to try this, but if anyone would like to know my thoughts please do let me know.
Lastly I picked up two lip barms as my lips really do suffer in the winter months. This is the 'Born Lippy' range and I chose the watermelon and strawberry scents. They are really soft and subtle and smell great.
See you next time
X
