Mascara Hacks

Hi Everyone,

I am not an expert when it comes to make-up
but I have learnt a few tricks when applying mascara. Keep reading to find out what they are.

First things first, there is no way of knowing which mascara is going to work for you without trying, so it is an expensive journey but once you know what works for you it is so worth it.

I have naturally long, dark lashes, so colourwise I do not need pigmentation but I always opt for an extra black mascara if there is an option in the range. So when looking for a mascara I need one that will help me with curling and definition. I have started to use 2 different mascaras to achieve this, and heres why...

I like a plastic wand brush to create the curl, the reason why a plastic brush is best for this is because it can reach right to the lash root and create a curl, you have much more control for this with a plastic brush. The second mascara is for definition, to fan out those lashes once lifted from the first mascara I applied. This prevents clumps of mascara, which sorry ladies is not a good look.

So the two mascaras I use to achieve this look is 'Miss Baby Roll, Mega Volume' by Loreal and either 'Bad Gal, Bang' by Benefit or 'Thick and Fast' by Soap & Glory.

If you want to try these hacks first work out what your natural lashes need, this could be length, darkness, curl, definition, volume, thickness etc...

Hope this helped some people
See you next time x
