Lost Culture exclusive look over 2015

2015 is coming to an end and it’s almost time to dip our toes into the 2016 pool. Despite if you’re New Year’s resolution is not set yet, were taking an exclusive look into 2015 in terms of best dressed in fashion.

The catwalk is the first place we look for the latest trends, and boy! Was it a year. The red carpet is where we have seen them from this year’s biggest award ceremonies

Rihanna in that yellow custom made Chinese couture designer gown at the Met Gala which left space for no one else and stirred up a lot at the time on social media as she took to Instagram to post from the Met Gala.

With Jennifer Lawrence it was hard to pick a specific red carpet event to mention her beauty, but during theProducers Guild Awards she wore a plunging, cleavage showing, Greek-looking, back baring- basically a dress that has it all from Prada- just an average dress for the ‘girl on fire’.

Beyonce is full of surprises as she turns up late to the Met Gala in Givenchy– a sheer bejeweled dress with a high pony on the steps of the red carpet with husband Jay Z looking on. She isn’t called Queen Bea for nothing.

Kendall Jenner at the Cannes Film Festival wore a crop top and full length skirt by Calvin Klein, a two piece eye-catching ensemble in dark purple.

Sarah Jessica Parker keeps it old school in Oscar De La Renta when she arrived at the metropolitan museum of art in a huge silken skirt and detailed black top. Totally Carrie Bradshaw from Sex And The City in true Hollywood style.

So if you’re not searching ‘Whip nae nae, Bae, Selfie Sticks, Royal baby, Caitlyn Jenner, Apple watch, Amy Schumer orSquad Goals’, you were scanning google for red carpet trends that can be copied, adapted, translated into real-life looks this year in 2015.

Fashion quote of 2015:

“I would say that my idea of style and my taste are the same as when I began: they express my deep appreciation of all that is simple and linear… I always want to keep up with the times but without altering the essential characteristics of my philosophy.” — Giorgio Armani on 40 years of style, Harper’s Bazaar
