Louis Vuitton has unveiled its Spring/ Summer 2016 campaign and for series 4 Nicholas Ghesquiere the creative director of the brand took to Instagram to announce the new face of the SS16 campaign and it goes Anime– collaborating with Japanese video game artist Tetsuya Nomura of Square Enix.

The Louis Vuitton ad shows a preview posed by the designer via Instagram revealing images and a video of the character modelling/ striking poses for the brands latest collection- garments and accessories including handbags. The video game character is from the hugely successful game ‘Final Fantasy’.

Ghesquiere said that the campaigns art is the result of the collaboration between Square Enix game artist and Lightings main character Tetsuya Nomura and the Japanese company’s Visual Works CG movie production department.

The new campaign is totally a surprise and awesome at the same time, and if anyone can pull off a campaign like no other its Louis Vuitton – Is this the future of modelling? Sounds like a Final Fantasy to us!
