Day2 of Paris Fashion week presented brand Rochas ‘winter garden’ collection and designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua gave an “Airy and fresh” 1979 feel to the runway during PFW. Keeping things rather traditional with chiffon and sheer dresses, plenty of ruffles, flower patterns, fur jackets and coats, bow blouses, velvet tops, prints, sequins and metallics, mainly embracing the womenswear collection in a very feminine way, using romance and elegance in the pieces for the fall/ winter collection. Colours used were pistachio green, mustard yellow, buttery caramel and marshmallow pink. Paired with chunky platforms, worn with high coloured socks.
Creative Director Alessandro Dell’Acqua said. “I started with the winter garden mixing with the lightness, the effortlessness, the younger situation, the femininity and the sensuality. I want to mix the colors, material, very light and just a little summer situation but in the winter mood.”
Paris Fashion Week runs up until March 9th. Stay tuned.
